Quality and environment

Sweden is a leading innovator in many global environmental issues and we work to Swedish recommendations both at home and abroad.

We are environmentally certified according to ISO 14001 and we are approved according to the quality label ISO 9001.

Our environmental work is limitless

We recycle all chemicals in our production and sort our waste materials. Our production uses mostly recycled plastic material, some products, however, require new plastic material due to quality demands.

RoHS Directive

All our products are approved according to the RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). The Swedish Chemicals Agency´s explanation of RoHS:

"The so-called RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) aims to reduce the risks to human health and the environment by replacing and limiting hazardous chemical substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The directive will also improve the possibility of profitable and sustainable material recycling from such equipment.

RoHS stands for Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

The directive has been introduced into the Swedish legislation through ordinance (2012:861) on hazardous substances and through the Swedish Chemicals Agenency´s regulations (KIFS 2017: 7).

The substances regulated by the RoHS Directive are:

-Quicksilver

-Cadmium

-Lead

-Hexavalent chromium

-Mercury

-Flame retardants PBB and PBDE

-Softeners DEHP, BBP, DBP, and DIBP.

The limit values for what is allowed for each of the restricted substances are 0.1% by weight in homogeneous material, except cadmium which has a lower limit value; 0.01% by weight in homogeneous material.

The limit values for DEPH, BBP, DBP, DIBP apply to each product placed on the market from 22 July 2019."
